easy­square on track for success: Review of 2022

A year packed with implementations, new developments and optimisations is drawing to a close. With a great deal of expertise, passion and fun, our product managers, developers and designers have worked with our valued customers and enhanced the easy­square portfolio. The result is well worth seeing! Here come the figures for this impressive year:

The real estate industry is becoming increasingly digital. After all, there is huge potential behind the keyword “digitisation”. With clever solutions, you can cut costs, save time, minimise errors and reduce your workloads. And that is exactly where the comprehensive easy­square cloud solution comes in. easy­square is the digital brand of PROMOS consult, the innovative technical partner of the German housing industry for almost 25 years. easy­square can therefore look back on many years of experience with regard to real estate processes. You could say it’s a “slightly different kind of prop tech”. 

By now, easy­square provides solutions for customers throughout Germany, and even beyond national borders in Switzerland and Austria. Reputable housing companies have successfully implemented the innovative digital solutions from easy­square. We have 18 apps in the Apple Store and the same number in the Google Play Store. Would you like to know what this means in concrete figures for 2022? Here’s your answer:

In 2022, easy­square again registered a significant increase in user numbers, with more than 200,000 new users registering on the easy­square platform over the course of the year. This means that, with a current level of 820,000 active users, we are well on our way to reaching the million-user mark!

Tenants, owners and potential tenants

The solutions for potential tenants, tenants and owners were particularly successful. This is because users are impressed by the fantastic service they provide. All information is grouped in a single place, while communication is more straightforward than ever. Using the easy­square tenant app, for example, tenant communication can be conveniently digitised with ease. All contract data is available at all times in a single location. Be it the rental contract, house rules or energy certificate, the documents are available around the clock, 7 days a week. A report of defects or an application to keep a pet can be submitted quickly and easily. Postage costs or calls to the service centre are eliminated – it’s an absolute win-win situation for both sides. This is also reflected in the current figures, as more than 770,000 documents were delivered via our customer apps this year.

Rental

With the app for landlords and estate agents, the easy­square range includes a simple and highly efficient application for digitising the entire rental process. It does away with all time-consuming, manual processes, making everything 100% digital and GDPR-compliant – from managing potential tenants and applicants to coordinating viewing appointments and even marketing properties.  

The numerous intelligent features and automated workflows facilitate the daily work of landlords, administrators and estate agents, thus making their processes more structured and creating space for value-adding tasks. When used in combination with the easy­square potential tenant app, the app allows you to transfer a large proportion of the necessary work steps to the applicant.

Here too, the figures are quite impressive, with more than 300,000 online requests leading to 36,000 viewings. Using the convenient, straightforward functions, binding reservations were then made for nearly 12,000 offers.  

Administration and property management

Thanks to its innovative functions, easy­square also makes the day-to-day work of administrators and property managers much easier. For example, our  digital solution provides an intuitive and simple way for property management or building management employees to control mobile processes on site using conventional devices. This enables them to complete work processes such as legal safety precautions or a change of tenant quickly and effectively.

A glance at the figures shows that our customers are no longer able to imagine doing without the digital and mobile workflows. Around 67,000 change-of-tenant processes were conducted via our easy­square platform in 2022. We also saw around 330,000 safety inspection processes and 114,000 additional processes from almost 50 different process types in the field of professional real estate management.

Craftsmen and service providers

Digitalised processing using a central, structured and transparent workflow offers clear optimisation potential and a significant increase in efficiency for all parties involved. The mobile craftsmen portal gives customers and contractors the option of processing services electronically from the submission of offers to ordering and billing.

The broad service spectrum for customers includes not only exchanging orders and making appointments, but also tools for communication and for saving framework contracts or unit price agreements. This makes easy­square’s service provider connection the perfect tool to simplify the organisation and processing of orders. Last but not least, the figures here also speak a clear language. Nearly 444,000 orders were carried out on the easy­square platform in 2022 and around 240,000 service entry sheets were paid by our customers.
