Convenience and added value? No problem with AI!
We want to make artificial intelligence usable in places that bring real added value or savings. One completely new idea we are currently working on in a prototype with some of our customers is the talking exposé. A tenant who finds a five-page exposé on a rental property typically has little interest in searching the entire document for the information they need. We see the potential for real added value here through the use of a chatbot.
Similarly, the use of chatbots as a helpful concierge in the apps brings a noticeable improvement. It is often difficult for occasional users in particular to find their way around in new applications straight away. It makes sense here to deploy an AI as a kind of voice-controlled concierge. Users verbally communicate their questions and receive a spoken answer to guide them through the plethora of functions.

Precision thanks to automatic image recognition
In the verification and activation area, we will also create a new, simplified solution that truly benefits users. The AI will be able to check whether the identification document of the person in front of the camera fits the tenant to be verified for our easysquare tenant app – at any time of day or night! This is an advantage for the user, but also for the employees of the housing company, who no longer have to perform the manual checks.
Let’s go a step further in the following scenario and turn the input logic around. We start a process with an image. If there is a defect in a rental property, for example, it is photographed in the first step. The AI-supported evaluation logic then recognises that it is a broken window pane and automatically fills the text fields as much as possible. We consider this field of application very promising because it simplifies the entire process.

Image recognition makes the whole process so much easier
The next few months will clearly be exciting, so keep checking in!
