The new operating system Android 12: Update to the easysquare apps
We always want to provide our customers with the best possible version of our digital solutions, so we’d like to get the word out today about an easysquare update and the associated Android update.
Google’s new Android 12 operating system is delivering a range of new functions to users, including changes resulting from legal obligations. In addition to a fresh design and new features, there was therefore also an overhaul in the areas of security and data protection.
The Android Private Compute Core is the motor that powers the Android 12 data protection functions. It ensures that the smartphone and its app conform to the user’s privacy settings. This has a couple of implications for the easysquare apps. For instance, links to the easysquare apps sent via e-mail must be verified in order to navigate directly from the link to the app. This includes the “Registration” and “Forgotten password” links.
Compatibility
The latest easysquare Update 6.143 ensures that you can operate our apps seamlessly with Android 12 and that verified links to the easysquare apps function as expected.
It’s important to note that the availability of Google’s latest operating system depends on your device manufacturer. Many manufacturers have already begun rolling out the new system for certain models in their product portfolios. Most commonly used devices will probably be compatible with Android 12 within the next two years.
