|All key consumption data available at a glance – The new easysquare tenant app function is here, just in time
You’ve probably heard about it already: The new Energy Efficiency Directive has arrived. Tenants should now be able to check their hot water and heat consumption on a monthly basis and reduce it accordingly. In light of the climate crisis, this is a step in the right direction. However, for landlords, owners and administrators, this means that they must regularly inform their tenants about their consumption. Sounds like a lot more work, doesn’t it? Not necessarily.
As a landlord or administrator, you can use the consumption display in the easysquare tenant app to show your tenants their hot water and heat consumption data in digital format at any time, quickly and easily. A new tile is provided in our app for this purpose. Your tenants can click on it just as easily as on the Contracts, Building Information or Services options. But even without a tenant app, landlords, administrators and owners can offer this new function to their residents via a “light” web version.
So don’t be afraid of the EED! By putting digital measures in place, you’ll be well prepared for the new directive.
